Who am I?

Updated: Jun 21, 2020

Before I start writing this blog I was inspired by a book called “100 days of Self Exploration” by Amy. J Blake .

If you read the about me section you know I have Bachelors in English and my minor was in Early Childhood Education. My degree reads Bachelor of Art English Teacher. I am not an English Teacher at the moment. I was however a daycare teacher (I might be again once this Covid is over) I have taught kids from the age of 1-5 years old. You probably wondering can they even learn at that age. The simple answer is yes. How do they learn ? This is fun part for me and why I enjoy it. They learn though play, listening to stories, but most of all music. I love singing with kids and I won’t claim myself to be a singer trust me. However it’s fun to sing and dance around in the classroom. A lot of it is repeating phase or words too. I was lucky enough to have an amazing teacher in college that taught me different ways to make music fun but educational. I am huge believer in multiple intelligences by Howard Gardner ( I might do a blog on just that because I find it so interesting). So a huge part of who I am is being a teacher.

However, I also consider myself a student of life. Many writers say they consider themselves a reader too. I have taken so many online courses and recently I am huge fan of Hay House online learning. The last online class I took was The Complete Course of Ayurveda by Jai Dev Singh if I am not mistaken.I am always finding new ways to learn as a student.Another way I like learning new things are books. I still love fiction and mystery, but I tend to lean more to self-books now. A year ago and roughly a month I became a podcast host. This is something I never thought was going be a big part of me. I have officially 27 episode. One actually I just released as a bonus episode . Fun fact: Full episodes I release Sundays or Wednesday at 9pm est and bonus episodes are random days. https://anchor.fm/peacelearnhealth/episodes/New-Blog-eeeh2a

Another big part of who I am is laughter. You probably wondering why. Honestly I grew up being self-concious about myself a big part of that was because I was bullied (Self-Discovery Podcast) and because I was seen as a tomboy therefore I was not “pretty”. So I have dealt with depression but mostly anxiety . That being said I love laughing so I love comedy. All my friends know my remedy for anything or everything is Boy Meets World.

I was born in Argentina but I grew up here in New York. That is another part of who I am. I pretty much grew up here but I have a small part of my Argentine culture ( Who is my mate? podcast) and recently since staying home I have learned a bit more as well.

In simple terms I am someone who loves learning and laughing a lot.

PS- If you want to know a little bit more about me. Here are some blogs that interview me.
